Our Story
Yo Soon Timber SDN BHD (YsTimber) is principally a timber base industry company, which is located at Bukit Mertajam, Penang.
YsTimber is established on July 1999 and founded by Director Mr Mah Kong Weng, who has more than 40 years’ experience in construction, furniture & timber fields. YsTimber directly imports the exotic tropical hardwood from Burma such as Teak (TectonaGrandis). Other than that, YsTimber also supply variety of local tropical hardwood such as Merbau, Nyatoh, Batu & etc.
In year 2002, YsTimber expand the company’s business to involve in wide range of timber manufacturing. The value added products include furniture, wooden flooring, decking, moulding, handrail, step board, door, door frame and etc.
To meet international standard, YsTimber has become a member of Malaysian Timber Industry Board (MTIB), Malaysian Wood Industries Association (MWIA), Malaysia Timber Council (MTC), Penang Furniture & Timber Industry Association and Penang Importers & Exporters Association.
